Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 8, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to the Aurisgen website, software, hosted services, APIs, customer portals, support systems, remote services and any related infrastructure or deliverables. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service. If you use the service, you agree to follow this policy.
1. Purpose
This policy exists to protect Aurisgen, its customers, end users, partners and systems from unlawful activity, abuse, disruption, data misuse, security threats and other conduct that is incompatible with a professional software and remote-services environment.
2. Lawful and authorized use only
You may use the website, software and services only for lawful purposes and only to the extent you are authorized to do so. You must not use the service in a way that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others or exceeds the scope of rights granted by Aurisgen.
3. Prohibited conduct
You may not, directly or indirectly:
- use the service to commit fraud, deception, identity misuse or unauthorized impersonation;
- upload, transmit, store, process, link to or distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, worms, malicious scripts or other harmful code;
- probe, scan, test, attack, bypass or interfere with any security mechanism, authentication control, rate limit, usage restriction or access control without Aurisgen’s prior written authorization;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, data, credentials, tokens, networks or environments belonging to Aurisgen, its customers or third parties;
- use the service to spam, phish, send deceptive communications, run abuse campaigns or violate anti-spam rules;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, copy or extract protected parts of the service except where clearly allowed by law or a written agreement;
- resell, sublicense, rent, lease, distribute or operate the service as a bureau, shared service or public platform unless Aurisgen has expressly agreed in writing;
- interfere with or degrade the performance, integrity, reliability or availability of the service or any connected systems;
- use the service to store or process content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, harassing, threatening, obscene or abusive;
- use the service to violate privacy rights, surveillance restrictions, wiretap rules or data protection obligations;
- use the service in connection with export-control violations, sanctions evasion or dealings with prohibited persons or territories; or
- misrepresent usage, entitlement, user counts, license scope, source of traffic, support rights or identity.
4. Security responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining secure credentials, device hygiene, internal approvals, backups and access controls on your side. You must promptly notify Aurisgen if you become aware of suspected compromise, unauthorized access, abusive use, data exposure or any material security incident related to your use of the service.
5. Customer data and third-party rights
You may only submit, upload, process or make available data and materials that you have the right to use for that purpose. If you provide Aurisgen access to systems, logs, content or datasets during remote services or support, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that doing so does not violate privacy, confidentiality, employment, trade secret, intellectual property or contractual obligations.
6. High-risk and regulated uses
Unless Aurisgen expressly agrees in writing, the service is not authorized for inherently high-risk uses where failure or inaccuracy could reasonably lead to death, personal injury, emergency dispatch errors, weapons targeting, critical infrastructure shutdown, unlawful surveillance, or other severe harm. You remain responsible for validating fitness for any regulated, mission-critical or safety-sensitive environment.
7. Monitoring and enforcement
Aurisgen may monitor use of its systems to protect the service, investigate abuse, preserve evidence, enforce agreements and comply with legal obligations. Aurisgen may suspend, restrict or terminate access without prior notice where reasonably necessary to stop abuse, protect systems, prevent legal exposure, respond to a security event or comply with law. Where practical and appropriate, Aurisgen may also request that a violation be cured before taking further action.
8. Reporting abuse
If you become aware of conduct that violates this policy, report it to info@aurisgen.com with enough detail for Aurisgen to review the matter.
9. Changes
Aurisgen may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the service, technology, legal requirements or security practices. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated.
